Suffragan Bishop Freddie Solomon, Jr.
Pastor Freddie L. Solomon Jr. was born October 23, 1967 to Mrs. Alean & the late Freddie Solomon Sr. He was educated in the Hampton public school system. After graduation he continued his education at Denmark Technical College; majoring in Professional Barber Styling. Pastor Solomon sought the Lord early in life and received the gift of the Holy Ghost on April 19, 1983.
Heaven smiled, as the man of God would set out to fulfill God’s purpose. He was ordained a Minister by Bishop R. Jones (Presiding Bishop of the New Church of Christ) October 1987. In 1990 to 1995 he served as Associate Elder of Rehoboth United Church of Jesus Christ in Columbia South Carolina under the Pastoral-ship of Bishop C.L. Lorick Sr. Pastor Solomon served as Assistant Pastor of the Beaulah United Church in Williston South Carolina. Pastor Solomon is married to Cynthia Hall Solomon, together they have five beautiful children: Caitlin, Freddie III, Chinwe., Sametria and Sammy. In November 1992 Pastor Solomon was elected to the Hampton County District II School Board. In 1996, Pastor Solomon was re-elected for a second term and served as Chairman for the entire four-year term.
From January 1998 - August 2007 he served as the Pastor of New Life Deliverance Temple of the Mount Calvary Holy Churches of America. In October 2000 Pastor Solomon & The New Life Deliverance family became an affiliate of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. In October 2003, the PAW elevated him to District Elder. On August 9, 2005 Pastor Solomon received his Bachelor’s of Arts in Pastoral Ministry from Aenon Bible College, Indianapolis, Indiana. Pastor Solomon is currently the Sr. Pastor at Refuge Fellowship Ministries Beaufort, South Carolina; a position he has held since September 2007. On July 11, 2015 Pastor Solomon was elevated to the office of Suffragan Bishop/Regional Director serving Region II of the 58thEpiscopal District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. Pastor Solomon is a great man of God who has the people of God at heart.
